Disc-Connect reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time and without notice to users. In this agreement Disc-Connect refers to the company, its officers, directors, employees, shareholders, agents, affiliates, subsidiaries, suppliers and representatives. You agree that using Disc-Connect's conversion service is at your own risk and purchasing our service does not constitute the acceptance of any liability. You also agree to provide true, accurate and complete information about yourself and your source material on your order form.
Copyright Laws
This service is used to convert your own analog media (audio cassettes, vinyl records, video cassettes, photos) into a digital format. Our service is designed only for conversion of materials you are authorized or legally permitted to change formats, this includes materials in which you own the relevant copyrights, or non-copyrighted materials. You acknowledge that it is your responsibility, not Disc-Connect's, to ensure that any material that you convert using our service does not violate copyright laws. You agree to defend and hold Disc-Connect harmless from any copyright violations resulting from your use of our service. You also agree to indemnify and hold Disc-Connect and associates harmless from any lawsuit or claim against Disc-Connect due to negligence or breach of copyright laws. This includes paying any attorney's fees incurred by Disc-Connect to defend itself in an inquiry or lawsuit.
Damage to source material
You agree that Disc-Connect is not liable for any of the following: damaged, cracked, or broken source material which may result from normal handling.
No contract is formed between you and Disc-Connect until Disc-Connect exercises the authorization to charge your credit card, and the charge is validated and accepted by your credit card company. Any arbitration or lawsuit will be governed under the laws and conditions set forth by the state of North Carolina.
